Coffee Brewing Methods - The Filter Drip Method

In this article we discuss the filter drip method of brewing fresh coffee.

This is a very popular and easy method of preparing delicious hot coffee. In it basic form a basket filter (bleached or unbleached) is used to hold an amount of medium ground fresh coffee. Water is then slowly poured into the filter which mixes with the coffee grinds before falling into a collecting container below the filter. This is often a glass jug.
